Stinger was the first male in our litter and the first red puppy for his sire, GCH Fiann Silver Sabre of Myshara.  Of course since then Lance has gone three for three with red litters – Stinger was the trailblazer!  From the first minute he was born Stinger has been smart and very laid back.  Actually a better word is probably professional, he rarely makes a wrong move.  He plays hard but then when he is tired he will walk back into the pen and go to bed.  Before his eyes were open he was the puppy that was always on the move checking out the pen.

As he has grown he has kept a wonderful personality.  He is the cupid of the house, with a big grin and a heart over-filled with love.  Stinger also did something I never thought would happen – he wormed his way into my husband’s heart and is HIS dog.  Usually I am the favorite but Stinger found his person and as soon as Steve comes home he flops on his back for a belly rub.

He hit the shows as a puppy to gain experience and is lovingly known as “the wild man” there is no dog who has more fun than Stinger.  He has the charisma, movement and conformation to be a great ambassador for the breed!  He is showing on a limited basis under the guidance of Jamie Clute with a goal of the 2013 USASA Nationals.

Stinger has also started low level agility and is a natural at herding.  He will continue training in both as his schedule allows.

He loves the other animals in the house – I have never seen a puppy that has this much love.  Stinger is especially in love with our old dog Sam, poor Sam tries to outrun him and there is Stinger going “Sam!  Sam!  Sam!”  A total crack up.

In Stinger’s 2013 has been on a roll, he has received points every weekend shown and is officially an AKC Champion – at the very young age of 16 months!  His wins came at many prestigious venues such as Chicago and Louisville and he gained the majority of his points in a 5 week span.  At USASA Nationals in St Louis Stinger made the finals of 12-18 puppy which was very deep and he was a definite crowd favorite!  On to Rally and Herding and maybe some Agility!!
