It is no surprise to anyone that knows the story of the whelping of Bummy’s litter that Memphis is staying here.  He is what I call my miracle puppy – he was the last puppy to be born and behind the puppy who was stuck and lost as a result.  My vet said that it was a miracle he was still alive, that he simply willed himself to live because based on all signs he should have died.

I held him in my arms as he woke up from anesthesia and he took a piece of my soul.  He is a male version of his mother Bummy down to the majority of his markings. Of course he had to add blue eyes to the package just to make my heart melt a bit more!

Memphis is always the clown too, just like his Mommy and his little butt is usually wiggling and he is always in the middle of the drama.  As he grows we cannot wait to see what road he takes – whatever he does will be special.  Look for him in the show ring soon!

Memphis is HSF4 Hereditary Cataract CLEAR.  MDR pending.  Too young for OFA or CERF.
