This little girl who I am calling Honey Bee has probably the most elegant neck and head of the bunch. Her merle is different than Bummy’s – hers is lighter. She is the scrapper so far – she has no issue letting you know what she wants and when she wants it – basically at newborn status she wants FOOD.
I think that the ear that looks pink may be going darker – it is still darkening so we shall see. It looks like it is going to change to grey She does have merle on both sides of her head it is just faint in the pictures.
Week 1 Update – Honey Bee is almost as big as her big brother Big Blue. She so sweet and loves to sleep on her Mommy.
Week 2 Update – Honey is as sweet as her name. She will snuggle with you when you hold her and is always the puppy that someone is snuggling with. She is just a total love, she reminds me a lot of Bummy in her disposition.
Week 3 Update – Honey continues to be the sweetest puppy. Her and Red are so like Bummy in personality although she cracks me up as she practices her growl and lunge techniques.
Week 4 Update – Honey does this whirling thing that cracks me up, she will spin then stop and kind of bark. She is the sweetest of the bunch but she can put a whallop on you. Everyone in a while she will play fight, usually with Blue…I call it MERLE WARS. She likes to help me make the puppy food in the kitchen. Total love.
Week 5 Update - Honey has a new name The Honey Badger (look it up on Youtube!) she is the smallest and sweetest but when she gets her dander up she will hold her own. It is funny to watch her take on her bigger siblings she is fearless!
Week 6 Update – Another name change! Honey Badger is now Lola. She will be living in Colorado with her pet humans and they have big plans to make her a Junior Showmanship/Obedience dog. It will be a perfect home for her filled with love and fun. Honey (Lola) is such a sweet girl and I am going to miss her so much, she is very attached to my son so I know she will love having her own kids. We are going to miss her so much when she leaves in a few weeks.
