Officially Lance’s first and only red puppy to date! (Update – Lance has THREE litters with red puppies now, way to go Lance!) I think Sharon is as excited as I am on this one! I admit the second he was born he and I bonded. He is a firecracker and most adventurous of the group. He is always off going and doing what he wants! He cracks me up!
I think he is going to be a dark red, the most beautiful markings and exquisite face. Can you tell I love him? Everyone who has seen him loves him he is absolutely perfect!
Week 1 Update – Red continues to be my perfect little man. He is very independent and will go off on his own away from the pile to hang out with mom or just lay next to her. He dreams just like Bummy, maybe he is already at Westminster?
Week 2 Update – Red is still my little Christopher Columbus, he has no issue going out on his own to do what he wants. He is so independent even as a little tyke and is still so handsome I am not a big fan of red Aussies and he has me whipped!
Week 3 Update – Red is starting to assert himself in the pack. He is hilarious and really quietly assertive. He and Honey are most like Bumble Bee in temperament so far. He is catching up in size to Blue as well.
Week 4 Update: My little Red boy is an old soul. Sometimes he looks at you and he gives you an expression like *these siblings of mine are INSANE* When the puppies and I play at night he is the stealth puppy, he will sneek attack you, them, anyone. He has so much common sense, I just love him.
Week 5 Update: Another week of firsts, Red learned to climb a stair and he likes to go to bed on his own too. He is very independent and yet social, when no one is looking Red is usually ready to sneak attack. He is such a sweet boy I am totally in love with him!
Week 6 Update: Official name change from *Red* to Stinger. What is funny is when he was born his name was Stinger and then I called him Red in case I wanted to use the name on Blue. In the end we decided to give it back to him. Stinger claimed my husband and after struggling we decided to keep both boys. We had multiple wonderful show homes interested in him but we want to see how he grows up. We think he is really special – inside and out and this way there is no pressure on him or us.
In order to give the Aussie's their due I have moved them to their own website. I have continued my personal website that will continue with my photography and writing.
