The decision to breed Bummy to Lance was made with a lot of research.  We wanted an outcross but at the same time stay true to the lines that made Bumble Bee.  In the end by choosing Lance we really hit a home run.

Bummy is from arguably one of the most successful crosses and from one of the best dam lines in Australian Shepherds.  Her dam Bayshore’s on the Catwalk is the dam of a Crufts breed winner as will as AKC and International Champions.  Her dam is the equally incredible Bayshore’s Jones New York and so on.

Lance is from another golden cross Ricky x Tempo.  This line has created incredible dogs like BIS GCH Copperridge Fire N Bayouland, GCH Quincy Jones and Briarbrook All Rights Reserved.  You can see why it was a no brainer to try to merge two of the strongest pedigree crosses in the breed to try and take the best of both worlds.

Lance was bred by Beth Van Horn-Rice and owned by Sharon Fontanini.  He is the sire of Best in Show and Best in Show Specialty winners and just a great example of an Australian Shepherd.  He has a wonderful temperament and when put with Bumble Bee they had so many similar qualities.

His daughter, BIS BISS GCH Myshara’s Dancing Queen is as close to perfection as an Aussie can get and her first time at Westminster garnered her a 2011 Award of Merit.  I think that she is just fabulous.  She also is the #1 Australian Shepherd bitch for 2012 and the #2 Australian Shepherd.

Our four puppies are wonderful examples of Australian Shepherds and I could not be happier with them.  I will try to keep these pictures updated – especially Sugar and Lola.  It is pretty cool to watch them grow.  Click on a puppy name to see their “Baby Book.”
